Miguel- a wise young father of four Victor achieved in his quest.
Victor tags along with Miguel as they cross the border till they come across border patrol and get split up.
Julio- a streets wise child who makes pocket funds with Victor in a filled border town until he decides to go on and cross the boundary through a draining tunnel that ends up in the U. T. when it rains.
Summary
This book starts out in central Mexico but when 15 year old Victor Flores’ family needs money victor has to cross the border to find work in the states.
On Victor’s journey this individual meets a male named Miguel and with each other they make an effort to cross the border in the states. On their journey the run into the border patrol and obtain split up.
Down the road victor meets Julio and together they will work on the streets planning to put together all their plan to get across the edge. One day it started pouring and Julio knew that it was the perfect possibility to float throughout the drainage canal that ends on the other side with the border. Victor decides not to go.
A little while later Victor notices a well used friend standing in line in the soup home. It was Rico! Victor could hardly believe it he’d thought that all Rico got already crossed the line. So they spent a couple of days finding up and planning their very own journey over the border. That they set off some days later on as mules with a few others. During their trip as espadrille they heard that they were going to always be killed towards the end so they’d to escape.
