In my opinion this standpoint is heavily reflected through the movie, Crimes and Misdemeanors. I think all the characters in the movie happen to be striving and hoping for pleasure but I think the only personality who truly achieves the greatest happiness would be Rabbi Bill. The role of GOODNESS in developing ethical principles and if the world would be valueless in the event that GOD didn’t exist is definitely displayed through this film. Rabbi Ben (Sam Waterston) leads a moral life throughout the film and this individual ends up blind, but he can dance with his daughter with a clear mind.
