Goodman Darkish experiences discord of good vs evil because of his sporadic faith. As he attempts to restore his faith, Goodman Brown yelled: “With bliss above and Faith beneath, I will yet stand firm against the devil! (196). The protagonist is intending to use his faith to keep him away from harm, although his soul is offered towards the evil. Finding his community being area of the congregation can be described as justification of his sporadic faith because he does not trust anyone about him, possibly his trust that should only be his supply of strength.
