jefferson davis was born in june 3rd 1808 in ch
ristian County, Kentucky. He was knowledgeable at Transylvania University including the U. S. Armed forces Academy. After his college graduation in 1828, he offered in the armed service until bad health pressured him to residn in 1835. He was a character in Mississippi from 1835 to 1845. Then he was elected for the U. S i9000. congress. In 1846, this individual resigned his seat in order to serve in the Mexican Warfare and fought against at Monterrey and Buena Vista, where he was wounded. He was a U. T. Senator from Mississippi coming from 1847 to 1857, and a U. S. Senator again by 1857 to 1861.

In his second term as a Senator he started to be the speaker for the Southern perspective. He compared the idea of separation from the Union as a way of maintaining the principles in the Southern.
