My Still left Foot Film Review My own Left foot is the accurate story of a young youngster called Christy Brown, played by Hugh O’Connor and Daniel Day-Lewis, Christy is born into a poor working category family in Dublin, Ireland in europe, with a literally disabling condition known as desapasionado palsy. Society was set in stone and nobody tried to better themselves. The son’s and daughters of every family used in their dads or mothers footsteps. Everyone had all their place in society the upper category lived to work, so as to make themselves richer and richer where as the lower course worked to have, so they will could get by simply in life. Christy however was an sens to this, this individual bettered him self in society by simply becoming a great achieved musician and copy writer, and this allowed him in order to the mold and become something nobody believed he could ever be.
I discovered my Remaining Foot quite inspiring because of Christys achievements, it demonstrates theres always a way to be something that you want to be even if the possibilities aren’t in your favor! It also shows that if somebody beleves in you, you can go very far in life, just like christys mother beleived in him when no person else did. I loved Daniel Day-Lewis in this movie because of his spectacular interpretation of the disease cerebral palsy, as you can imagine playing the function of a disabled man will need to have been quite challenging yet Lewis managed to pull it off.
My own only dislike about the? lm is the fact I sensed it was a? lm that we could just watch once, because the? lm deals with this sort of a serious subject I feel that their not anything Id desire to view again. I thought the setting, combined with costumes and props had been very appropriate in picturing life inside the 1930’s and 40’s, the houses and neighbour-hood was what you would expect it to be like as well as the view and beleifs of the community.
