‘Of Human Bondage’ is a tale about Philip Carey, a guy with a clubfoot. He was orphaned when he was nine years of age, and resided with his vicar uncle and aunt in Blackstable. His stay there were lonely and miserable.
His uncle were living a religious and monotonous lifestyle, while his aunt was a typical Even victorian Era wife, submissive with her husband.
