I believe that The Knight in shining armor is a great amoral book. I think that after Machiavelli composed it, having been just telling the truth.
He was just saying what he believed was right and what I believe is correct. Sometimes the truth is not what people want to know. Most of the time people want to know what is the great or what they think the ideal thing is. The truth is which the Prince may be the right approach to be a leader.
The only is actually that most people don’t acknowledge. They think that a lot of the material Machiavelli has offered in this publication is incorrect and that he instructs the way to be in power the wrong way. Machiavelli says in The Royal prince that a royal prince should need to be both loved and feared. He later says that being liked and terrifying at the same time is extremely hard to do.
Thus he says that if a knight in shining armor should have to choose, he will need to choose staying feared. You will discover probably many people out there that disagree highly with him. His thinking behind it was that if you are not feared in that case people can easily switch on you and overthrow you. I totally agree with this kind of statement, Machiavelli has the same reasoning which i do. I really believe that if Machiavelli had not have written this guide that the world would have recently been different then it is today. I think that the book provides guided rulers that much.
I am sure that there has been a lot of rulers to choose from that have considered this book for advice. If perhaps this book had not been there after that these rulers might have made different decisions and possibly decisions that would include impacted depends upon. So Machiavelli’s book is a great tool for most rulers.
