representing Shylocks take care of his child, after the girl ran apart, is altered to make Shylock seem beastly. But , in the Jewish lifestyle and the period of time, his response was appropriate. Following his child ran apart, she was, for all intents and purposes, disowned. Thusly, the theft of his gems reduced her to the amount of a robber, and so the lady deserved to become punished.
