Ever since Hawthorne chosen to become a writer he was identified to be a
achievement. He had written for many years yet non-e of his guides drew the interest
Hawthorne needed. At the time he wrote the House of the Eight Gables, he had just

Hawthorne was a very insightful, but confusing guy. Some would even say hypocritical
because he might criticize or perhaps claim anything and in the end, praise what he critisized
and state the opposite of what he originally explained. I, however wouldnt claim he
was obviously a hypocrite, somewhat he was strange, not allowing anyone understand his authentic intentions although
just allowing them to interpret points their own way. He integrated this in to much of his
writing, likewise. In The House Of The Seven Gables Hawthorne gives us alot of details and
symbols but he never truly tells us what they mean, giving them to our own
interpretations.
