Today We, Monil Gokani, of class several SR, am going to present my own speech around the topic “Why Eastern India is dropping behind American India? ” on behalf of Shakti House. There are lots of reasons due to which asian India is falling behind western. I will compare the many aspects pertaining to development in both the regions. Firstly the literacy price of 2 parts has a vast difference.
According to the 2010 census, the literacy rate of eastern India is 59. 7%, which can be much a lesser amount of than the nationwide rate of 74. 04%.
To the in contrast, Western India has literacy rate of 83. 2%, higher than the national charge. This is one of the main reasons that eastern India is dropping behind traditional western India. As literacy makes a decision the understanding and cleverness of people it might be derived from this that east Indian people aren’t aware of the educational acadamies as it is also a fact that eastern India has its own of the best study centers of the nation such as IIT – Kharagpur, IIT –Bhubaneshwar ETC . The eastern shoreline of India is also even more prone to the natural disasters occurring in the Bay of Bengal, such as tsunamis and cyclones. Destruction caused by these types of results in the worsening up of the already bad financial conditions with the regions state governments.
In the case of eastern India, the coast not beneath as serious a menace to water-borne disasters while the asian coast, which means the monetary expenses aren’t as much as those of the eastern India. And also financial condition gets a boost as a result of tourism as it has many historic as well as archaeological structures and places not to mention the various religious pilgrimage centers. Therefore this region is definitely financially sound can spend more upon its advancement than eastern India.
